By creating an account on Lumivite you agree to the terms below. They are written in plain language on purpose.

The service

Lumivite lets you build countdown and music player widgets and gives each one a public link you can embed in an invitation website. The service is free, has no paid tiers and places no limit on how many widgets you create.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done through your account.
• Use a real email address so password resets can reach you.
• One person or organisation per account. Do not share sign in details.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

• publish unlawful, hateful, harassing or deceptive content;
• impersonate another person or organisation;
• attempt to access widgets or accounts that are not yours;
• test, scan or overload the service, or attempt to break its security;
• automate mass account creation or widget creation.

Music and video links

Music widgets embed the official YouTube and Spotify players. Nothing is downloaded, copied or re-hosted here. Your use of those players is also covered by the terms of YouTube and Spotify, and you are responsible for making sure you have the right to share the link you paste.

Browsers and embedding platforms block audio that starts on its own. The widget therefore shows a play button and playback begins only after a visitor taps it. We make no promise of automatic playback.

Availability

The service is provided as it is, without any warranty. It may be unavailable during maintenance or because of problems with the hosting provider. Keep your own note of important dates and links rather than relying on this service alone.

Content you create

Your widget content stays yours. You grant the operator of this site only the permission needed to store your content and display it on the public widget page you asked for. We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law.

Ending your use

You can delete individual widgets or your entire account at any time from inside the application. The operator may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Trademarks

Canva, YouTube and Spotify are trademarks of their respective owners. Lumivite is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them.

Changes

These terms may be updated. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
